The initial baker's dozen places to write about are listed and have a basic framework, but are in various stages of creation. I'll probably flesh most of these places out to a minimal level before adding others.
With the exception of Budda Belly, the original list of places is significant only in that they were the first ones to pop in to my head when I decided to start this website. Several other places could easily have been among the first thirteen.

The (initial) site parameters are established including the acquisition of a domain (beyondtherow.com)... although it doesn't point here yet.
Google Analytics has been installed.
Some very initial and basic content is being created.
Initially, content will come from myself and the lovely wife Angie. However, I suspect we will eventually add content from others as well.

While on the way home from yet another tasty trip to Jeff's, I convince Angie that it is time to to do a website that focuses on non-chain Gainesville Food and Drink establishments.
For the next hour, fueled by a Monkey Mocha from the Second Street Bakery, I brainstormed the basic idea and format.
